Failure Is My Superpower
Can I tell you something that took me way too long to figure out? Failure is not the opposite of success. It's actually the path to it, and the faster you can fail, the faster you get where you want to go.
I know that sounds a little counterintuitive, so stick with me here.
I have shown up fully prepared, given something everything I had, and watched it fall completely flat anyway. I've tried new things with total conviction that they were going to work and gotten crickets. I've put real time, energy, and money into things that ended up teaching me nothing except "well, not that." And I once trained for months for a half Ironman, showed up race day ready to go, and ended up with a heat stroke in 98 degree weather without finishing. Devastating doesn't even begin to cover it.
And I wouldn't have the business or the life I have today if I hadn't stumbled through every single one of those things. Failing fast is actually my superpower, and by the end of this I want it to be yours too.
1. Stop overthinking and just start
If you've been sitting on something for weeks or months, turning it over and over in your head, trying to make it perfect before you launch it into the world, I want you to hear this. At the end of six months of overthinking, you will be in the exact same spot you're in right now. But at the end of six months of trying things, learning, and adjusting, you will be somewhere completely different, and that's exactly where you want to be. Done imperfectly beats perfect and never started every single time.
2. Decide upfront what success looks like
Before you jump in, give yourself a clear way to measure whether something is working. It doesn't have to be complicated. Maybe it's two weeks of running something new and then stopping to honestly evaluate the results. That checkpoint is what keeps you from either quitting too soon or spinning your wheels way too long on something that isn't working.
3. When it doesn't work, ask two questions
What did I learn? And what am I going to do about it? Those two questions are the difference between a failure that knocks you flat and a failure that actually moves you forward. Maybe you learned this particular thing isn't for you. Maybe you learned you need a different approach. Maybe you uncovered a passion you didn't even know you had. There is always something useful in there if you're willing to look for it.
Failing fast is a superpower
Every single person I admire, every mentor, every visionary I look up to, will openly tell you about the pile of failures they had on their way to success. Nobody gets it right out of the gate. The goal isn't to avoid failure. It's to move through it quickly so you can get to the good stuff faster.
So the next time you're standing at the edge of something new and scary and you're not totally sure how it's going to go, I want you to remember that stepping into it at all is worth celebrating, and whatever happens next is going to teach you something really valuable.

- Cozy Earth's bamboo sheets and pajamas!
Are you struggling to get a good night's sleep because you're either too hot or too cold?
Cozy Earth's bamboo sheets and pajamas solved this problem for me in a way I didn't think was possible. The bamboo fabric keeps you comfortable without overheating, which means you can finally sleep through the night without waking up drenched or kicking off the covers. I feel cozy and wrapped up, but actually cool at the same time.
Their classic cuddle blanket is seriously next-level comfort too (even our dogs try to steal it). Cozy Earth offers a 100-night sleep trial, so there's zero risk, and you can use code HARMONY for up to 20% off! - Making Home Your Happy Place by Katy Wells

My dear friend Katy Wells wrote Making Home Your Happy Place, and we loved it so much we chose it for our Next Level Planning Book Club!
Katy transformed her own chaotic, cluttered home into a calm space where she actually has time to breathe and enjoy her family. And in this book, she shares the proven tools that have helped thousands of busy families declutter with confidence, understand the emotional roots keeping them stuck, and create systems that maintain a peaceful home without constant effort.
This isn't about achieving some picture-perfect minimalist aesthetic. It's about freeing up your mental energy and time for what actually matters in your life!

How do I know when it’s time to try a new planning tool like Trello?
You've heard me talk about Trello for organizing personal information, but you're already comfortable with Excel and not sure if it's worth learning a new tool.
This week's buzz tackles exactly when it makes sense to try Trello versus sticking with a simple spreadsheet. I'm walking through the decision-making process I use before bringing any new tool into my life, why I personally switched from Excel to Trello after years of using spreadsheets, and the specific problems Trello solved that Excel couldn't handle as my lists got longer and more detailed.
You'll see exactly what makes Trello work better for managing large amounts of information and when Excel is perfectly fine for what you need. If you've been wondering whether you should jump into a new tool or stick with what you know, this video gives you the framework to decide.
Remember, this video is updated every Wednesday, so don’t miss it! Head to The Pink Bee app to watch now.
