The 3 Question Filter for Your To-do List
Before you add one more thing to your to-do list today, I want you to pause for just a second.
Because I'm willing to bet that a good chunk of what's on that list right now doesn't actually need to be there, and definitely not this week. We've been so conditioned to say yes to everything and write down everything that we've never stopped to ask whether it belongs on our plate in the first place.
These three questions changed that for me completely.
1. Does this actually need to happen this week?
When something lands in your inbox or pops into your head, the knee-jerk reaction is to add it to this week's plan so you don't forget it. But "I don't want to forget this" and "this needs to happen now" are two very different things.
If you have one central place to capture things that need to happen eventually but not right now, your brain can relax. It doesn't have to hold onto everything or manufacture urgency just to keep track. Future you will deal with it in the right week. This week's plan stays manageable.
2. Does this actually have to be me?
This one is sneaky because we assume the answer is yes before we even finish asking the question. But genuinely sit with it for a moment. Is there someone else who could handle this, and if so, are you willing to fully hand it off?
Full hand-off means no following up, no checking in, no quietly making sure it got done. If it doesn't have to be you, transfer it completely and take it off your list entirely.
3. Is this aligned with what matters most right now?
This is the one that requires the most honesty. A lot of what ends up on our plates got there because we felt like we should, or we were afraid of what someone would think if we said no, and not because it actually reflects what we care about.
Every yes to something that isn't aligned is a quiet no to something that is. You don't owe anyone an explanation for passing on something that doesn't fit your life right now. A simple, warm "I'm not available for that" is a complete sentence.
Ready to try it?
Run every new to-do through these three questions before it lands on your plan this week. You might be surprised how much doesn't make it through.
You don't need to do more. You need to do less and do it with intention.

- NEW FREE EVENT! For Small Business Owners

Picture this: you take a day off from work, phone down, laptop closed, and when you come back, things moved forward without you. Your team handled what needed handling, nothing fell through the cracks, and nobody needed you to weigh in on something that should have been a simple decision. For most small business owners, that scenario feels like a fantasy. The tools are in place, processes are defined, plans were documented, but what's missing is the operational foundation that determines whether any of it actually sticks.
That foundational layer is exactly what I've spent the better part of my career learning how to build, and it's a huge piece of why The Pink Bee runs as a seven-figure business on a small, part-time team without me holding everything together. Starting Monday, April 27th, I'm teaching exactly what this foundation looks like in a free five-day live training called The CORE Intensive. I'll walk you through the exact operational framework my business runs on so you can see what's working in yours, what's missing, and what to actually build next! - Focused Space | Online co-working app & community!

Are you working from home and finding it impossible to stay focused when you're the only one there? Focused Space solves the accountability problem that kills productivity for solo workers!
Instead of relying purely on willpower, you join live co-working sessions where other entrepreneurs, freelancers, and remote workers are tackling their own goals alongside you. A host keeps the session moving, you can share what you're working on for extra accountability, and the app helps you track your progress and build realistic plans.
What makes this different from just setting a timer or using another productivity app is the human element. Showing up is easier when you know real people are showing up with you. If you've been stuck working alone and can't seem to follow through on what you planned to do, Focused Space gives you the structure and community to actually get it done. Use code HARMONY for 20% off!

Why Your Business Is Still Chaotic Even When You Have Systems
You've invested in templates, SOP generators, and organizational tools, but your business still feels like controlled chaos. You're not doing it wrong. You're just missing the layer that makes all of those things actually work.
Most business owners are sold on the pieces and parts of operations without ever being taught the infrastructure that holds everything together. Without that foundation, it doesn't matter how many systems you buy or how good your SOPs are because nothing sticks.
In this video, you'll learn why buying more systems and tools keeps making things harder instead of easier, what operational infrastructure actually means and why nobody is talking about it, the four pillars every business needs to stop the chaos for good, and how to identify exactly what's missing in your business right now. If you keep investing in solutions that don't solve the problem, this video shows you what you're actually missing.

Why Something Always Pops Up to Derail Your Plan
You plan certain tasks on certain days, and then something else always pops up to take over that time. Sound familiar?
This week's Weekly Buzz tackles why this keeps happening and what to do about it so you stop getting behind on everything. I'm breaking down the concept of uncertainty time, how to figure out exactly how much you need each week, and why protecting that time in your plan is what keeps you from going into time debt.
You'll learn how to track what's actually derailing you, how to build wiggle room into your calendar so new things don't blow everything up, and what to do when something urgent comes in so your planned work still happens. If you're constantly replanning because life won't leave you alone, this shows you the missing piece.
Remember, this video is updated every Wednesday, so don’t miss it! Head to The Pink Bee app to watch now.
