Sunday Secrets to Smoother Weeks
Sunday evening used to fill me with dread. I'd think about the week ahead and feel that familiar knot in my stomach, knowing Monday would hit like a freight train. But then I discovered something that changed everything: intentional Sunday prep. There are five simple tasks you can do on Sunday that will transform your Monday from chaos to calm. Two of these might surprise you, but they've been absolute game-changers for creating smoother weeks.
Pick out your clothes for the entire week on Sunday.
This isn't just about Monday's outfit. Look at your whole week and lay out what you'll wear for that date night, important meeting, or special event. The goal? Eliminate decision fatigue before it starts. You don't want to waste 50 micro-decisions on polka dots versus stripes when you could save that mental energy for things that actually matter.
Do a complete brain dump, then create your weekly plan.
Start by getting everything out of your head and onto paper. Then look at your calendar and plug those tasks into realistic time slots. Most importantly, schedule time for YOU. It's way too easy to fill our calendars with everyone else's needs and forget we're human beings who deserve fun and rest too.
Menu plan (not meal prep) for the week.
You don't need to spend Sunday chopping vegetables. Just decide what you're eating each night so you're not facing the dreaded "what's for dinner?" question at 6 PM when you're already exhausted. Keep a running list of family favorites you can rotate, and give yourself permission to order takeout on the crazy days.
Clean out your purse/bag and your kids' backpacks.
Dump everything out and put back only what belongs. You'll be amazed at the random treasures you find (and the important school papers you almost missed). This 10-minute task prevents so much weekday chaos and keeps you from digging through a bottomless pit when you need something quickly.
Restart all your devices.
Your phone, tablet, laptop, everything. All those apps running in the background are slowing everything down. The last thing you want is your computer demanding a 45-minute update right before an important call on Wednesday morning.
The magic isn't in doing all five of these perfectly every Sunday. It's in choosing the ones that address your biggest weekday pain points and making them part of your routine. The bag clean-out and device restart are often overlooked but can be total game-changers. Pick two or three that resonate with you and try them for the next month. Your Monday morning self will thank you!

- Plan-a-Palooza Early Bird Tickets!

One of the biggest fears I often hear women have about Plan-a-Palooza is this: "What if I get all motivated during the workshop but then can't actually use what I learned?" Here's what makes Plan-a-Palooza different: you're not just learning concepts, you're creating actual tools that you'll use all year long.
You'll walk away with your Annual One Pager (your entire year on one sheet) and your Year at a Glance (your visual roadmap for 2026), and these aren't meant to sit in a drawer collecting dust. You'll reference these tools every single month when you're doing your monthly planning. Early bird tickets are available through August for just $47, but the price doubles on September 1st. - Giant Wall Calendars

I know I've mentioned these wall calendars before, but I seriously fall more in love with them every day. I keep all 12 months up in my office (using erasable white chalk markers), and what I love about these gorgeous calendars is how visual and flexible they are!
Plus, if you're not into all the bright colors, there are other options that might be more your style. They're perfect for anyone who needs to see their whole year at a glance. - Back-to-school podcasts worth checking out!

With back-to-school season right around the corner, getting into the right mindset is just as important as buying all those supplies. This thoughtfully curated collection of podcast episodes is specifically designed to help you prepare for fall, whether your little one is starting their first day of school or you're an older adult headed back to college.
It's a great roundup that covers all the different scenarios and ages, so there's definitely something that will resonate with your family's specific back-to-school situation this year.

Do This BEFORE School Starts (Most Parents Don't Know This)
Do you feel like your big goals and dreams are just sitting there collecting dust while you're drowning in daily overwhelm? The truth is, most productivity experts teach planning completely backwards, starting with future goals instead of getting you out of the daily grind first, which is exactly why your gorgeous vision boards never seem to translate into real progress.
In this week's episode, I'm breaking down why traditional "top-down" planning fails women and showing you the bottom-up planning approach that actually works for real life. You'll finally understand the missing link between daily overwhelm and long-term progress, plus how to connect your weekly reality to those bigger dreams.
